The flag hoisting programme was conducted on 26th January 2026 at 7:30 a.m. on the auspicious occasion of Republic Day at Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Hurda. The Chief Guest, Dr. Rakesh Choudhary, MOCHC, Gulabpur, graciously hoisted the national flag. The programme was organised under the guidance of the Principal of the school, Mrs. Asha Goyal. The ceremony was marked by patriotic fervour and active participation of staff and students.
Manjeet Choudhary secured 2nd position, winning the Silver Medal and Trophy at the National-level Shooting Championship 2026. Sarita Choudhary, Anita Choudhary, and Sanjeet Singh also participated in the National-level Shooting Championship
Students of Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Hurda participated in a Space & Astronomy Camp on 7 April 2026, organized in collaboration with Aryabhata Foundation.The program began with a lamp-lighting ceremony, followed by interactive sessions on space science and practical observation of the Sun. In the evening, students observed the Moon, Jupiter, and other celestial objects through telescopes.Around 800 students and parents attended, gaining valuable knowledge and developing scientific curiosity and interest in astronomy..
VKV,Hurda, showcased an impressive performance at the WSRO, held in July.The school participated with 13 teams, competing against more than 100 teams from across the region.The students secured 1st position in line following category & 4th position in the Young Scientist category.Both teams are eligible for nationals.
